A selected poem from my compositions, probably not my best, nor entirely original, but hoped people might listen...suppose that it is not about listening, but not caring, at least powerless, unable to change much, like myself.  Anyway, a fellow poet-song writer, approached me wishing to use some of the lines of this poem for a song.  I had no hestitation in saying yes, hoping that his song might have farther reaching appeal.  Well perhaps you have heard it sung in somewhere, in a pub, by a street busker?  I wish the song-and-him well.
